A 5-yr-old girl who was fatally stabbed in Dublin’s Parnell Square last month has shown “incredible strength” but her future is still uncertain, her mother said, reports Irish Times.

In an update posted late last week on the GoFundMe fundraising page, the child’s mother thanked those who have supported the family since the Nov 23 attack.

Three children and an adult suffered knife injuries when they were attacked by a lone attacker outside Gaelscoil Cholaiste Muir in Parnell Square East as pupils were leaving the school, reports Irish Times.

Two children aged five and six have already left the hospital.

The babysitter who helped protect the children from the attacker remains hospitalized in critical condition, as does the five-year-old girl who suffered the most serious injuries, reports Irish Times.
