Social media users had mixed reactions to footage that emerged on social media of a man being set on by three men on a Dublin Bus earlier this week.
It was initially reported that the man was trying to steal a 15-yr-old girl’s phone, but this has now been disputed.
A number of social media users, some of whom say that they know the man in question, have claimed that the real story is teenagers were filming the man who was asleep on the bus.
When he woke up, he tried to stop her filming him by grabbing her phone to stop her. He then went to get off the bus and her friends jumped at him and beat him severely.
