Police in England have a launched a manhunt for a “scruffy” suspect after a 9-yr-old boy was stabbed in the face and neck in an apparently random attack.
The shocking attack happened on Saturday afternoon as the child was walking on Peveril Road in Peterborough when a man attacked him before fleeing the scene on foot.
Police have described the suspect as an “Asian man who was tall, skinny, scruffy in appearance with black short-to-medium length messy hair and was wearing black jogging bottoms and a big coat”.
In the UK, police of Pakistani and Indian heritage are described as Asian.
Police in Cambridgeshire have appealed to members of the public for further information surrounding the shocking attack.
