Police in Majorca have launched an investigation after a 15-year-old British girl was allegedly raped at a hotel.
According to The Express newspaper, the investigation comes after the girl who was on holiday with her family was attacked by a man at a sauna in the hotel, located in Llucmajor.
Civil Guard officials say they believe that the attacker was a foreign national and have identified him via CCTV footage in the area.
However no arrest has yet been made as authorities say he wasn’t staying in the hotel.
They also say they believe that the attacker may have been watching the girl for some time before he attacked her.
It is reported that the girl was taken to a hospital in Palma, where she was examined.
Police say they are treating the incident very seriously and investigations are currently ongoing.
