A dog in China has proven that dogs are truly man’s best friend as he has returned and waited in the exact spot where his owner was killed almost three months ago.
The dog who has become well known on Chinese social media has tugged on the heartstrings of millions as he is filmed waiting for his beloved owner to return.
It is reported that the dog who runs away when ever a member of the public tries to rescue him has returned to exact same spot in Hohot, Inner Mongolia, to wait for his owner to return.
According to China’s Pear Video, the dog’s owner was sadly killed in an accident on the stretch of road over 80 days ago on August 21st.
Although a number of attempts have been made to remove the dog from the area, Pear Video say the dog always runs away before returning a short time later.
It is believed that passers-by always give the dog scraps of food a local taxi told the website.
