The ESB Powercheck app is reporting multiple power outages around the country today due to high winds.
Many counties from Cork to Cavan have been affected. People are advised that the ESB have apologised for loss of service and are their teams are working to restore power as soon as possible.
Met Eireann say that the winds will remain tonight and tomorrow with heavy rain in places. However, they good news is that from Thursday onwards, the weather is due to pick up significantly again.
