A gang of teenage thugs set upon a man and a woman walking with another man in Town Park, Swords, earlier today.
One of the men and the woman were physically assaulted, and a camera bag was taken.
The man was taken to Beaumont Hospital by ambulance, where he received treatment for a shoulder injury. The woman did not require hospitalization.
Local Gardai have issued an appeal to anybody who may have witnessed the incident, or to people who were in the Town Park between 6pm and 8.45pm to contact them in Swords on 01 666 4700 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
