The hard hand of the law has come down on one naked, drunken woman who took matters into her own hands.
A court in the UK has heard evidence that a woman who sneaked into a married man’s room and performed oral sex on him as he slept. The man, who was sleeping separately from his wife due to his snoring, woke up during the sexual assault in the pitch black.
The court heard that the man thought it was his wife. The woman tried to pull him on top of her, plainly trying to engage in sex but she fell off the bed. The man woke out of his deep sleep, turned the light on and realised the woman was drunk and stark naked, reports the Metro. The victim told his wife, who immediately phoned police.
During questioning, Ms Le-Mar said she could not remember the events but later admitted to charges of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent; sexual assault; common assault; and assault of an emergency worker.
Marie Le-Mar, 38, was handed three years and six months in jail for a string of offences after stripping naked and entering the victim’s bed, following a heavy drinking session on March 15 last year.
In his concluding remarks Judge Rochford said: ‘Sexual offences against men are no less serious than sexual offences committed against women, the act has gender neutral terms to achieve equality.
It is not apparent from court reports if the sex offender was known to the victim.
