Martin said at a Fianna Fail think-in that he’s been in the party for many years and that it’s nothing new to not have party unity on who is leader.
He said it’s his job to listen to people in his party but that it’s important that the party unites coming out of their meeting.
Martin also said that he intends to become Tanaiste when Leo Varadkar gets his go as Taoiseach again in 2022 and that he’ll lead Fianna Fail into the next General Election.
