The Taoiseach said that people need to use common sense as Christmas continues and that it’s about what they get up to in relation to their personal behaviour.
Martin said that we need to work collectively and that’s the context we’re in in this phase of the pandemic.
He said that it’s different to earlier waves but that we have a strong booster rollout with over 1.2 million people being boosted at this stage already.
The Taoiseach also announced that further restrictions or a possible lockdown cannot be ruled out before the New Year.
