The Taoiseach Micheal Martin is said to be keeping a close eye on what’s happening in Iran, fearing that his St Patrick’s day visit with President Donald Trump may not happen because of the war.

Insiders have told The Liberal that Martin doesn’t yet know either way whether the annual visit with the US President will actually take place or not.

However, experts say that the visit is likely going to go ahead, but if things get any worse in the Middle East then the visit will either be cancelled or postponed indefinitely.
