In what can only be described as a truly catastrophic start to Micheal Martin’s tenure as Taoiseach, more and more revelations appear to be coming out on a daily basis over GolfGate.
The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said that he is very angry with the Oireachtas Golf society event which was held in Clifden last week.
Speaking to RTE’s Today with Claire Byrne, the Taoiseach said that he was very angry with what happened and he fully understands the public’s anger.
Martin also said he welcomes the public fury following the event as it gives the message to everyone else to comply with the guidelines.
The Taoiseach added that the public had sacrificed so much during this pandemic especially those who were unable to attend funerals for loved ones.
