People have been left gobsmacked after AIB pulled the rug from underneath their own customers.
The majority State-owned bank, AIB, really are making their own decisions. The government can only urge people to change their mind.
Many places, particularly in Co Kerry, are demanding that AIB leave banks as they are with locals saying that they’ll run out of cash.
The Taoiseach, Micheal Martin has pleaded with AIB executives to reverse the decision, however Martin can’t do anything to make AIB change their mind.
Social media users are saying that it’s utterly disgraceful what’s happening.
