There was some sad news announced overnight as Hollywood star Chadwick Boseman sadly passed away aged 43.
The news of the star’s death was confirmed by Nicki Fioravante who said that the actor who is best known playing T’Challa in Marvel’s Black Panther movie, died with his family at his Los Angeles home following a battle with colon cancer.
Boseman who was reportedly diagnosed with the illness in 2016 is believed not to have spoken publicly about his diagnosis and continued to work on a number of projects whilst receiving treatment.
In tribute to the star the following message was posted on his official Twitter account: “It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman.”
“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more – all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”
“It was the honour of his career to bring King TChalla to life in Black Panther.”
