Gardai have confirmed the details of all five young people who tragically died after a two vehicle crash in Dundalk, Co Louth on Saturday night.
They are named as Chloe McGee (23) and Shay Duffy (21) both from Carickmacross, Alan McCluskey (23) from Drumconrath, Dylan Commins (23) Coole, Ardee and Chloe Hipson (21) from Lanarkshire, Scotland.
The crash happened between a Volkswagen Golf, that all five people were in, and a Toyota Landcruiser, which had two occupants.
Another man, who was in the Golf, was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda, along with both occupants of the Landcruiser.
The Ardee road in Dundalk remains closed tonight for further garda examinations.
