In what can only be described as absolutely astonishing, a number of prominent TDs and other public figures appeared to not care less about the hardship the rest of the country has had to endure since March.
The Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald has revealed that the Taoiseach Micheal Martin has refused to recall the Dail following the recent GolfGate incident.
In a post on Twitter, the Sinn Fein leader said that she had spoken with the Taoiseach who refused her request.
McDonald went on to say that his decision was wrong as the Government is chaotic, confused with no direction.
It is understood that McDonald’s comments come after the Minister for Agriculture Dara Calleary resigned from his position this morning in wake of the GolfGate scandal.
I have spoken with the Taoiseach. He has refused my request to recall the Dail. He is wrong. The government is increasingly chaotic, confused, with no direction. They must be held to account.
