An off-duty garda has tragically died during the search for a fisherman missing off the Wexford coast.
It is understood that the officer, who was in his 40s, passed away after a diving accident while actively searching for the fisherman.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the nature of the accident has not yet been disclosed.
