A vast majority of the Irish public would favour an United Ireland a new poll has revealed.
According to a new poll carried out on the behalf of RTÉ and TG4, 65% of Irish voters would be in favour of Irish unity if the matter was to be decided almost immediately.
However a total of 19% would vote against the idea, whilst 15% of voters were undecided on the matter.
The findings come as part of the broadcasters coverage of the European Elections coverage.
