Met Eireann has confirmed a marked improvement in the weather during the second half of the coming week.
According to the national forecaster, a high pressure system will move in by Thursday, potentially bringing in summer-like (by Irish standards) conditions for the weekend.
This forecast is still uncertain though, so we can only hope for the best.
