Met Eireann has confirmed a mini-heatwave this weekend, with temperatures potentially soaring to 24-25C.
According to the national forecaster, the period between Thursday and Sunday of this week is likely to bring in dry conditions and above average temperatures for the month of October.
The mini-heatwave will be short lived though, with things taking a turn for the worse again by Sunday evening.
