Met Eireann has confirmed a sharp decrease in temperatures over the coming days, amidst mostly dry conditions.
According to the national forecaster, daytime temperatures will barely reach double digits over the next five days, dropping to 0C at times during the evening.
The thermometers will begin to rise again by the middle of next week.
