Met Eireann has confirmed fine weather for most of the upcoming Easter weekend, but rain is to return next week.
According to the national forecaster, weather conditions will remain changeable between now and Friday, with periods of sunshine mixed with frequent outbreaks of rain, and maximum temperatures of 13-14C.
Friday and Saturday are expected to be mostly dry and sunny days, but cloudier conditions will develop throughout Sunday, leading to a rainy Sunday night and a very wet Monday morning.
