Met Eireann is forecasting a couple of rainy but mild days ahead of a very positive prediction for the weekend.
According to the national forecaster, Wednesday and Thursday will bring rather showery conditions, with temperatures reaching 18-19C at times.
Thursday will see a similar pattern, with overcast conditions around the west and north of the country, with showers developing by the afternoon.
Friday is currently forecast to be a very wet day, but current indications point to a bright and mild weekend ahead, with temperatures reaching 19C.
