Met Eireann is forecasting a freezing Friday night, with temperatures dipping to -2C or -3C.
According to the national forecaster, subzero temperatures overnight will lead to a frosty start of Saturday. The rest of the day will remain cold but mostly dry.
Sunday is expected to be warmer, with daytime temperatures reaching 11-12C at times, but there will be outbreaks of rain during the day.
