Met Eireann is forecasting a mild start of the week, but colder weather appears set to return by mid-week.
According to the national forecaster, Monday and Tuesday will be mild but wet days, with temperatures reaching 12-13C at times. Tuesday will be particularly wet, as a band of rain moves in from the west by evening.
Early forecasts point to colder weather setting in from Wednesday on.
