Met Eireann is forecasting a cold snap for this weekend, but warmer weather is on the way.
According to the national forecaster, daytime temperatures will struggle to reach double digits on Saturday, sinking to -2C or -3C overnight, with widespread frost formation expected.
Temperatures will rise slightly by Sunday evening, with more unsettled weather predicted for next week.
