Met Eireann is forecasting further unsettled weather today, but mild temperatures are on the way this weekend.
According to the national forecaster, Ireland will experience a mix of sunny spells and heavy showers, with the possibility of thunderstorms at times. Munster and Leinster will see the worst of the weather by evening.
Saturday is likely to be a very mild day, with highest temperatures reaching 25C-26C, though Sunday is forecast to be slightly cooler.
