Met Eireann is today forecasting higher than average rainfall over the coming days, and some chilly nights.
According to the national forecaster, low pressure will dominate weather patterns over the next few days, leading to very unsettled weather.
Daytime temperatures are expected to remain above average though, with the thermometer falling sharply after dark.
