Met Eireann is today forecasting miserable weather for the coming days, with more widespread rain predicted.
According to the national forecaster, the early part of the current week will see the best of the weather, with relatively dry conditions and temperatures reaching high teens.
The weather is set to turn for the worse by Wednesday though, with a return to wet and blustery conditions.
The outlook is for unsettled weather to continue throughout the weekend and beyond, with little in the way of summer.
