Met Eireann is forecasting mixed conditions for the coming weekend, with unsettled weather expected to last into next week.
According to the national forecaster, today, Thursday, will bring some heavy showers but also sunny spells, with temperatures rising to 20C at times.
Friday is expected to be a little better, weather-wise, with long sunny spells and rain around eastern and northeastern areas only.
The outlook for Saturday and Sunday is for a mix of sunny spells and some isolated showers, and temperatures topping 20-21C.
