Met Eireann forecasts subzero temperatures for Monday night, but conditions will become milder later in the week

Met Eireann is forecasting subzero temperatures for Monday night, but conditions will become milder later in the week.

According to the national forecaster, daytime weather on Monday will be generally dry and bright, with only a few light showers, mostly around western areas, and temperatures reaching 11-12C at best.

The thermometer will sink to about freezing overnight though, leading to a foggy start of Tuesday, and temperatures similar to the previous day.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are expected to be mostly bright days, with just some scattered showers, and temperatures touching 12C at times.
