Met Eireann is today forecasting very unsettled and cooler weather for the coming days, with a mix of sunshine and showers and daytime temperatures sinking to mid- to high teens.
According to the national forecaster, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are likely to be rather wet, with persistent rain developing in many areas, particularly throughout Saturday night.
The current outlook for the following week is for unsettled weather to persist.
