Met Eireann is today forecasting very unsettled weather for the end of the year, with plenty of rain but relatively mild temperatures.
According to the national forecaster, the weather over the next week or so will be very wet, with above average temperatures, often reaching double digits.
The start of 2022 is looking equally unsettled, weather-wise at least, with no big freeze in sight for the time being at least.
