Met Eireann has issued a 7-day long advisory for high temperatures, as the thermometer is expected to top 30C by early next week.
According to the national forecaster, it will get ‘uncomfortably warm’ across the country for a few days as hot air moves above Ireland.
The weather will start becoming noticeably warmer by Sunday, leading into a very hot Monday, with temperatures likely soaring above 30C.
