Met Eireann has issued a grim weather forecast for the coming days, with unsettled conditions and plenty of rain in store. Munster and Connacht will see the worse of the weather.
According to the national forecaster, today, Monday, and most of the coming week will remain rather showery. Things will take a turn for the worse by Wednesday, with more widespread rain expected.
The only positive news is that temperatures will be fairly mild, with the thermometer reaching 20C at times.
