Met Eireann has issued a nationwide Status Yellow weather warning due to heavy rain forecast for today.
The warning, which will remain in place until 8pm tonight, warns of very heavy downpours and hazardous driving conditions throughout the day.
Sunday’s weather will remain unsettled, but drier overall.
