Met Eireann has issued a new weather warning for cold temperatures as freezing weather is set to continue throughout the weekend.
The nationwide warning will kick in at 5pm today and remain in effect until noon on Saturday.
According to the national forecaster, frost, ice, and fog will cause hazardous driving and walking conditions around many areas of the country.
