The national forecaster has issued an Orange wind warning ahead of the arrival of Storm Ali. The warning covers Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Meath, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, and Kerry.
The weather front is expected to strike Ireland towards dawn on Wednesday morning.
A Status Yellow wind warning will cover the entire country, as Storm Ali carries winds of up to 110 and 120km.
