Met Eireann issues Status Orange warning for heavy rainfall affecting three counties




Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange warning for heavy rainfall affecting three counties.

The warning, which covers counties Cork, Kerry, and Waterford, will kick in at 7pm tonight and remain in effect until 9pm on Tuesday.

The national forecaster is predicting that up to 80mm of rain might fall across many areas around these counties, likely leading to localized flooding.
