Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow warning for heavy rain for three counties.
The warning, which covers counties Cork, Kerry, and Waterford, will kick in at 4pm and remain in place until 6am.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties may experience localized flooding.
