Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow warning for heavy rain affecting 10 counties.
The warning, which will be in place from 6am on Friday until 6am on Saturday, covers Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, and all counties in Connacht.
Up to 50mm of rain are expected to fall during Friday afternoon/evening and into Saturday morning.
