Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning for heavy rain affecting two provinces.
The warning, which affects Connacht and Munster, will be in place from 1pm to 10pm today.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these provinces will experience heavy rain today, which might lead to spot flooding.
