Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning for heavy rainfall affecting 10 counties.
The warning, which will come into effect at midnight on Thursday and remain in effect until 6am on Friday, covers Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry, and Limerick.
Up to 60mm of rain might fall across many areas, which might lead to localized flooding.
