Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning for high winds affecting three counties.
The warning, which affects counties Galway, Donegal, and Mayo, will be in place from 8pm on Saturday evening until 2am on Sunday.
The national forecaster says that wind speeds of up to 100km/h are possible across many of these areas at times.
