Met Eireann has issued two new weather warnings ahead of wet and blustery conditions.
A Status Yellow warning for strong winds will be in place for counties Galway and Mayo until 6am on Wednesday.
A second warning, also for strong winds, will be in effect from midnight on Wednesday until 6am for counties Donegal, Leitrim, and Sligo.
Many areas around these counties will experience wind speeds in excess of 100km/h.
