Met Eireann issues two Status Yellow weather warnings for severe weather affecting several counties




Met Eireann has issued two Status Yellow weather warnings for wind and rain affecting several counties.

A wind warning covering the whole of Munster and Wexford will be in place from 6am to 7pm on Tuesday. Wind speeds of up to 65km/h are expected there.

Meanwhile, a rainfall warning will be in effect from midnight to 7pm on Tuesday for Connacht, Donegal, Cork, Kerry, and Waterford.

Earlier, the national forecaster warned of an impending period of very unsettled weather over the next few days.
