Gardai in Co Cork have confirmed that a man is currently in critical condition in hospital following a road traffic collision on Saturday night.
It is understood that the man was seriously injured following a two vehicle collision on the R610 at Raffeen, Carrigaline at approximately 9.15pm last night.
Gardai say the driver and a passenger in the second car were also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
