Met Eireann issues two warnings as very unsettled weather approaches




Met Eireann has issued two Status Yellow warnings as very unsettled weather approaches.

The first warning affects Galway, Mayo, Cork, Kerry, and Waterford. It kicked in at 6pm on Tuesday evening, and will remain in place until 6pm today.

The second warning covers counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, and Tipperary. It kicked in at 5am today and will expire at 5pm.

Heavy rain is expected to fall across many areas of these counties, causing potentially hazardous driving conditions.
