Met Eireann issues two weather warnings for four counties as conditions set to deteriorate significantly




Met Eireann has issued two warnings for four counties as weather conditions are set to deteriorate significantly.

A Status Orange wind alert covers Co. Donegal, and will be in place from 9pm on Wednesday until 9am on Thursday. According to the national forecaster, wind speeds of up to 130km/h are possible.

Separately, a Status Yellow warning has been issued for Clare, Galway, Mayo, and also Donegal. This warning will remain in place from noon on Wednesday until noon the following day. Wind speeds of up to 110km/h are likely.
