Met Eireann has issued an urgent nationwide weather warning for ice and fog.
The warning will be in effect from 11pm tonight until 11am tomorrow.
According to the national forecaster, heavy fog banks overnight will cause hazardous driving conditions, with patches of freezing fod increasing that hazard.
